Ken Macdonald

Golf: Chosen by the Bergen Record to the All Century Golf Team. Ken drove the ball well and hit accurate approach shots, but his real strength was his putting. Ken led the Glen Rock Golf team to three league championships in a row, 1994, 1995 and 1996. In 1995 he was: Bergen County Golf Champion, District II Golf
Champion, New Jersey High School Golf Champion, Rutgers University Junior Golf Association Champion, New Jersey State Junior Champion and the Metropolitan Golf Assoc. Champion. That year and the next he was also chosen by the Newark Star Ledger as the NJ High School player of the year. Ken was also selected by the AP and the Star Ledger as First team All State.

Ken was a three year Golf Captain at the University of Richmond. In 1998 he won the NJ Open Golf championship – only the second amateur ever to have done so. He was the 1999 New Jersey State Amateur Golf Champion. Ken won the 1999 and 2000 MGA stroke play championship.

Ken was the two time NCAA Collegiate Golf Champion. He turned professional in 2000 and has won three mini tour events so far.
