Grant was a key ingredient in the dramatic success of Glen Rock High School football in the late 90’s and was named to the Record All-Century team (kick returner) for his remarkable play. In his senior year he had 14 kick returns of 50 yards or more and was a dominating and feared receiver for the Hall of Fame 1999 Panther team that set many scoring records.
One of his most notable performances came against Garfield when he scored five touchdowns in the first quarter. More impressively, three of those touchdowns came on receptions against defender Miles Austin, a current starter for the Dallas Cowboys.
Grant was also an excellent baseball player who led his team to a state group championship as a senior under Coach Tom Wilson. And he was an important contributor on the basketball court, having led his Freshman Team to the Bergen County Championship.
Beyond Glen Rock continued his athletic career as a leading receiver and a kick-off returner for Boston College. He was named 2nd Team- Big East for the Eagles and was subsequently signed as a free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Grant works as an associate at Goldman Sachs and lives with his wife Brittany in Oradell.
