Erin Henry Butler

Erin was an exceptional three season distance runner whose notable achievements earned her All-County and All-State honors. She was also selected for the Record’s All-Decade team for all three running seasons. Erin was a standout in the golden age of girls’ cross-country and track at Glen Rock.

Erin’s still-standing school records include: cross-country on all courses (1000m – 1500m – 1600m -3200m); 4 x 800 relay; 4 x 1600 relay; and the distance medley relay. The 4 x 800 race that Glen Rock ran in 2002 was the third fastest in Bergen County history to that point.

Erin continued her running career on scholarship at Georgetown University where she ran cross-country, winter track and outdoor track. At Georgetown she received All-Region recognition in cross-country and was named to the Big East Academic All-Star team. She was the number three runner on a GU cross-country team that qualified for the national championship meet and took second place at the IC4A.

After graduating with a business degree Erin joined Citrix Systems and is a Senior Manager – NY Metro sales. She and her husband Mark were recently married and live in Hoboken.
