Chris was an outstanding quarterback who was a great passer and a great runner on the option. Chris was chosen as a quarterback on the All Century football team by the Bergen Record. He was a three year starter. He accounted for 5,281 yards of total offense in his senior year for a per game average of 480 yards. Chris did all of kicking for the team and was also an outstanding defensive back. In 1995 and 1996 he was chosen first team All League, All Bergen County and All Suburban. In 1996 he was selected First Team All State by the AP and the Star Ledger. Parade magazine named him as an All American quarterback.
Chris led Glen Rock football to three BPSL championships (1994, 1995. and 1996). Glen Rock beat Secaucus for the state championship in 1996. The record for the three years Chris was on the team was 29 wins and 2 losses.
Baseball: Chris was an outstanding shortstop with a great arm. He hit over .300 in his junior and senior years, led GR to the BPSL league championship in 1997. Glen Rock baseball lost in the group 2 state final in 1997.
