Bud Zachary

Bud was without peer as a high school golfer and was selected to the Record All-Decade Team for the decade of the 1960’s.

As a Panther Bud was a three-time League champion and two-time state interscholastic champion. He was a fearless competitor who thrived under pressure and never rattled.

Soon after graduating from Glen Rock High School, Bud won the NJSPGA Amateur title in both 1967 and 1969. He continued his golfing career at Princeton University where he earned All-American recognition in both 1968 and 1969. He was also selected to the All-Ivy team and was the Princeton team captain in 1970.

Bud also led the Tigers to both the Ivy League and Metropolitan Intercollegiate Golf Association crowns in 1969.
